The Social Sub-Committee performed its duty under the directives of the Rules
& Regulations of the Muslim Institute by holding various programmes during the session 2023-2024.
Flag Hoisting Ceremonies on the occasion of 15th August and 26th January
2023-2024 were held with great pomp and enthusiasm showing utmost respect to
the National Flag. President of the Institute, Mr. Md. Nadimul Haque , M. P., Mr. Nisar
Ahmed, Hony General Secretary, Sk. Nazrul Islam and Dr. Nayeem Ahmed both
Asstt. General Secretaries along with a number of Executive Committee Members,
well wishers and general members of the Institute attended. Other programmes
include DAWAT-E-IFTAR, JALSA-E-EID MILAD-UN-NABI, ZIKR-E-SHAHADAT and
TARAWEEH were also held as per the traditional rituals on dates meant and
decided for the same. Shri Sudip Bandopadhyay, M. P., Smt. Nayna Bandhopadhyay ,
MLA and other prominent personalities attended DAWAT-E-IFTAR warmly
received by our President, Mr. Md. Nadimul Haque, M.P. and his team.
Its worth mentioning that the above programmes of the Institute carried
adequate fund to be invested but inspite of having been surrounded by financial
shortcomings due to construction programmes on various sectors in the Institute,
the Social Sub-Committee did well under its limited resources the credit of which
goes to the Executive Committee.
I am, therefore, grateful to all of them for their unwavering support to me even
at odd situations.
