Billiards Sub-Committee is one of the most prestigious sections of The Muslim Institute. This section has been a pride, not only for this institute, but also for the state and nation for more than a century. This section is famous for its state and national level players. Many players from this section are now posted in various companies and railways in sports quota.
It is a matter of great pleasure that tremendous progress and development of the billiards section has taken place during the year 2023-24. Billiards hall is fully air conditioned and the playing conditions are of international standard. The activities carried out by this Sub-Committee during last one year are as under:
The Muslim Institute snooker league edition 3 took place this year. It's one of the most sought after tournaments every players look forward to participate in this league. A total of 10 teams took part in the said event, with a total of 40 top players. Blue Titans was the winner and Black Warriors finished as runner up. The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Mr. Nadimul Haque (Member of Parliament), President of the Muslim Institute, Mr. Parvez Raza, Chairman, Billiards Sub-Committee and the rest of the committee members.
Shoaib Khan took part in the pool National championship 2023 and finished as top 16 in the event. He also took part in the snooker and billiards national championship 2023 held in Chennai.
